The Inventive Design Capability Enhancement Advisory Service focuses on facilitating generation of new designs using abstraction thinking evolutionary paradigm supported by appropriate tools and methods. An evolutionary paradigm facilitates transforming existing designs and converting them into inventive designs. Experienced designers, when compelled to develop inventive designs, usually start with known designs and gradually introduce small changes incrementally based on either intuitive instincts or several trials and errors attempts producing sequence of designs with increased novelty.

The evolutionary approach based on abstraction thinking is a directed multi-dimensional approach to instill deliberate creativity triggers in the mind of a designer to strengthen its intuitive instincts while designing. Only best designs survive which are then used to initiate the next group of children. The entire process is iterative until inventive designs are produced (i.e. when the designs are unknown, feasible and potentially patentable) or has the desired competitive leap to meet the customer satisfaction level.
